Digital camera is now back in action
1 visit to Jessops.com and 50 quid later and my digital camera is back in action. Awesome. I am now going to post hundreds of photos of my dogs now!

Seriously don’t bother with the internet today. More Aprils fools jokes than not.
Would be okay, but it fills Google Reader with crap. I have enough trouble keeping on top of work related RSS feeds without dealing with 54 different April fools jokes from Google and other such companies. Though I have to say, most are shockingly bad.
I am feeling a bit stressed at the moment – can you tell.
So I decided to download the latest firefox 3 Beta this morning, and I have to say that it is very much better that 2.44.01023.243423.234 or whatever version Firefox 2 is up to now.
In fact I am now unsure which browser to use. Safari 3 or Firefox 3? Who knows?
Who cares?
In other news, you can read my twitters here:

I use a MacBook at work, and firefox is absolutely screwed on it. It loads stuff about half the time, and the other half it randomly stops loading webpages, but doesn’t beachball, just doesn’t respond. I would say it might be the addons I have – I have quite a few, but I disabled them all and it as worse?!?!? I would delete it entirely and redownload it, but to be honest, I am liking the Safari browser layout more and more, it is simple. I have been using the latest webkit nightlies, and they are very nice.
So yeah, firefox, you are not as great as you once were :/
I promise to write in this blog thing more often. Obviously this is a promise to just myself, and possibly my sister, as I am pretty sure no one else ever reads this. However, I have been very busy recently eating easter eggs and playing Diablo II again.
However, I have a couple of cool website ideas at the moment that I am working on. More on them when they are up and running though.
So I sat down and filled out my self assesment online tax form thing tonight. I have to fill this in as I have a trust fund. It isn’t as cool as it sounds – it pays me about £100 a year, which is better than nothing, but is also quite annoying when it comes to filling in tax forms.
Anyway, I fill it all in, knowing that I am owed a few quid. And then bugger me, if it doesn’t come back and say that they owe me the best part of £600 for the tax year 06-07. Fuck me running, this is awesome! I like very much.
So in a week or two, I should be £600 better off. Mint!
Went to London for work on Wednesday. Very nice. However, I feel like I wasted a large chunk of the day by having no internet access most of the time, especailly when sitting on the train.
They had chocolate digestives, and if I am honest with you, I would travel for a week to get free biscuits, so there is no way I was going to complain about 5 hours of travelling for a 1 hour meeting.
The past couple of weeks have been pretty hectic, changing departements and all that.
However, I am now the pround owner of what might be the greatest dvd box set in the world:
Babylon 5: The Complete Universe
Fucking mint!
So I am at my parents house with my dog – dogs, if you count the Matilda, my parents dog. Anyways, the internet here is very slow and unreliable. Which would be okay. Except other than walk the dogs and watch Sky Sports there isn’t much else to do. God how I love Sky Sports. From 20/20 cricket to premiership rugby to watching Derby almost win, there is everthing on Sky Sports.
So I was trying to do some work today – nothing on TV and the dogs had just been on a walk for an hour and a bit, so I decided to do some shit that should really have been done before. So I decided to do that. And then the internet went tits up and, this is the honest truth, the only site that would load with any kind of speed was www.blastbilliards.com. Seriously. So I played that for a while, rebooted the router a few times and then left it to watch reruns of Braniac and The Simpsons.
Then lo and behold, it starts working, at about half 9 at night. After I have lost all urges to do anything vaguely work related and instead now just want to play stupid flash games.
Awesome!
